Renner Red-Hot, EL Player of the Week Monday, August 31st , 2111 It was an extraordinary week for Roy Renner of the Binghamton Mets. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .522, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Eastern League. Last week Renner went 12-for-23, racked up 2 home runs and 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Binghamton second baseman.
