Wednesday, September 24th , 2098
At the age of 23, Charlie Fleet says he still has a lot to learn about life in Eastern League.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Richmond Flying Squirrels reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2098 Eastern League Reliever of the Year.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the
Sackville, Canada native said.

For the season, Fleet had 33 saves in 70 relief appearances, which totaled 123.2. He fanned 142 betters, while walking 45 and put up a record of 9-6 to go with his 1.53 ERA.

He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Colin Orr of the Richmond Flying Squirrels finished second in voting, while Sean Lenz of the Altoona Curve finished third.
