Josh Edwards of the Reading Fightin Phils had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2098.

The 27-year-old first baseman put up a .300 average and a .377 on-base percentage, piling up 149 hits, 24 doubles, 1 triple, 30 home runs, 86 RBIs and 90 runs scored.

He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Ryan Ginsburg of the Trenton Thunder finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Marcos Iniguez of the Richmond Flying Squirrels finished third.
