EL Selects Robinson August's Top Starter Sunday, September 1st , 2097 Paul Robinson is the latest Eastern League Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Akron starter stood out on the hill time and again last month and finished August with a sparkling 5-1 record. In 6 starts last month, he fanned 49, walked 10 in 42.2 innings and posted a 2.32 ERA. Robinson held opposing teams to a .232 batting average when he was on the mound. On his stats sheet this season Robinson shows a 9-7 record, 20 starts, 134.2 innings, 148 strikeouts and a 2.61 ERA. |
