Bowie Crowned Champions Wednesday, September 14th , 2107 The Bowie Baysox pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Round 1 in a hard-fought series with the Hartford Yard Goats. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 6-5 victory at Prince George's Stadium, Bowie lay claim to the franchise's 21st championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Ivan Rios. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."
