Cox Shines in 4-0 Gem Sunday, August 3rd , 2104 Jimmy Cox shut out the Biloxi Shuckers, 4-0, on a 6-hit masterpiece for the Jackson Generals at MGM Park. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Jackson skipper Dan Barnett said afterward. Cox registered 10 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Biloxi manager Ethan Isler after the defeat. So far this season, Cox has compiled a 5-7 record with a 4.52 ERA.
