He led the Biloxi Shuckers to victory 5-0, blanking the Tennessee Smokies on 2 hits. He had 2 walks and 11 strikeouts. "You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," Tennessee skipper Nick Miner told reporters after the shutout loss. "He just had a real deceptive fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes."
