Olivares silenced the Jackson Generals, 2-0, in a Biloxi Shuckers triumph at MGM Park. Despite the appearance of dominance, Olivares said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 3 walks and 4 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." To date this year, Olivares shows a 10-5 record, 16 starts, 117 innings, 113 strikeouts and a 3.46 ERA.
