Razor-Sharp Swanson Blanks Montgomery Tuesday, August 21st , 2108 In an outstanding mound performance, Mississippi Braves starter Josh Swanson fired a complete-game shutout against the Montgomery Biscuits at Trustmark Park. Swanson was the key to the 2-0 Mississippi win. The 24-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 4 hits and no walks he allowed. "4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout." This season, Swanson has 12 wins and 7 losses and a 3.72 ERA.
