TEX Star of the Week Picked Monday, May 5th, 2059 So far in his young career, Hyun-oo Kang has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Texas League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Northwest Arkansas Naturals left fielder hit at a torrid .333 clip as he collected 9 hits in 27 at-bats, 7 home runs, 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This year Kang has hit at a .266 clip with 22 RBIs, 11 home runs and 20 runs scored. |
