Chris Cooper Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Sunday, June 15th , 2098 Chris Cooper will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Springfield starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Cooper was injured while throwing a pitch in the Cardinals-Travelers clash at Dickey-Stephens Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 9-10 months. His record for the year is 1-1 in 0 starts and Cooper has a 2.87 ERA. |
