San Antonio Shut Out, 6-0, By Cardinals, Kinnie

Chris Kinnie of the Springfield Cardinals put the clamps on the opposition and held the San Antonio Missions scoreless in a 1-hit win.
"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said San Antonio skipper Mike Coveney after the 6-0 loss.
Kinnie was on target most of the game and finished with 7 strikeouts and 2 walks.
Thus far this season Kinnie has posted a 4-8 record, started 16 games, struck out 95 batters in 102.2 innings and compiled a 5.44 ERA.
