"Bobby was just locating so well and using his pitches," Midland manager Jeremy Rodal said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Wallace recorded 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Springfield manager Bobby Perez said in postgame comments to BNN.
