Resto Twirls Hooks to Shutout Win Tuesday, July 9th , 2097 The Tulsa Drillers were almost helpless today in their 2-0 loss to the Corpus Christi Hooks and hurler Jose Resto. Resto kept the Drillers confused all game, spinning a 8-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Resto," Tulsa manager Rich Inci said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 26-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 8 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Resto said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."
