Juarez Sparkles in 5-0 Blanking of Frisco Wednesday, July 23rd , 2110 The Frisco RoughRiders were almost helpless in their 5-0 loss to the Midland RockHounds and hurler Melvin Juarez. Juarez kept the RoughRiders confused all game, spinning a 6-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Juarez," Frisco manager Carlos Mercado said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 23-year-old right-hander had no walks and 8 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Juarez said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." In 20 starts this year, Juarez has posted 7 wins while suffering 8 losses.
