Four-bagger Feast: Robinson Slugs 3 for San Antonio
Saturday, August 2nd , 2098
Sincere Robinson went on an explosive hitting spree against the Midland RockHounds at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the San Antonio Missions to the 9-2 win.
The first baseman finished 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 6 RBI.
"It was just one of those days," Robinson said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."
Midland skipper Adam Ford said Robinson was "locked-in."
"We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him."
Sincere Robinson grounded out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Shane Lee in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Shane Lee in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Alejandro Carcamo in the 7th.
