Naturals-Drillers Fight Nets 5-Game Suspensions Wednesday, July 30th , 2110 It was quite a row yesterday at Arvest Ballpark. The Naturals Hector Salazar and the Drillers Matt Bartos backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Salazar and Bartos were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 5-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. In his season totals Salazar has 5 home runs and a .238 batting average. To date, Bartos has collected no saves in 13 relief appearances. He has rung up 31 strikeouts and 5 walks in 48 innings while registering a 3.75 ERA and a 6-0 won-lost record. |
