Pike Wins TEX Player of the Week Monday, August 25th , 2098 It was announced today that Northwest Arkansas center fielder Gabe Pike has been acclaimed by the Texas League as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week. Pike posted a .471 batting average as he collected 8 hits in 17 at-bats, 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. Thus far this season Pike has hit .313 with 16 home runs, 57 RBIs and scored 48 times. |
