Flores Records Shutout Against Mavericks Friday, August 9th , 2097 Pedro Flores of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes toyed with the High Desert Mavericks today, blanking them 4-0 at Stater Bros. Stadium. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 8-hit shutout with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Flores said in the clubhouse after the game.
