Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 6 Games Saturday, June 1st , 2109 "I don't think I did anything wrong. I think my actions were justified." Those were the words of Carolina's Mike Van Loenen after a game between the Mudcats and Blue Rocks, which featured a benches-clearing fight. The league did not agree, however. Both Van Loenen and the Blue Rocks Armando Rosa will be suspended 6 games because of their actions. For the year, Van Loenen is hitting .213 with 2 home runs. His stats include 11 RBI and 9 runs scored. To date this year, Rosa shows a 3-3 record, 7 starts, 61.2 innings, 52 strikeouts and a 3.36 ERA. |
