4-Game Suspensions for Alvarado-Sanchez Fight Wednesday, July 3rd , 2109 There was a mass free-for-all yesterday at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. Both dugouts emptied when Carolina's Izzy Alvarado and Wilmington's Mike Sanchez scuffled with one another after some heated words. In an official statement today, the league commissioner suspended both parties for 4 games. This season in 14 games, Alvarado is batting .265 with no home runs, 4 RBIs and has scored 6 times. To date in the season, Sanchez is 2-1 with 26 relief appearances and 1 save.
