Lynchburg Blanks Carolina Behind Rice Friday, July 20th , 2108 It wasn't easy but Kevin Rice made it look that way. Rice silenced the Carolina Mudcats, 1-0, in a Lynchburg Hillcats triumph at Grainger Stadium. Despite the appearance of dominance, Rice said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 8 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said.
