Winston-Salem Loses Silva for Year Friday, August 22nd , 2098 Winston-Salem shortstop Leo Silva suffered a season-ending injury colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Hillcats. According to club doctors Silva has a torn labrum. Although Silva has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. This season Silva has 6 home runs and a .278 batting average. |
