Week's #1 Player Honored by CAR Monday, September 1st , 2098 The Carolina League made it official today: Jim Young is the Player of the Week. He really glistened on the diamond this week with a .435 average to take home the honor. The Carolina third baseman went 10-for-23, drove in 4 runs, scored 3 times and hit no home runs.
