Dash Crowned Champions Friday, September 26th , 2104 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Winston-Salem Dash, that meant the Carolina League Round 2 trophy. The Dash took a 5-1 victory over the Lynchburg Hillcats at Ed Smith Stadium, winning their 4th championship after taking the series 4-3. "We've got grit," said Dash center fielder Ruben Archuleta, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
