#1 Pitcher Trophy Won by Pelicans Madore Thursday, October 9th , 2110 The hottest hurler in the Carolina League this season was Clint Madore of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. He caught the attention of everybody in the league on his way to winning the 2110 CAR Pitcher of the Year Award. Madore starred with an impressive 16-6 record in 28 starts. The Pelicans ace gave up 156 base hits and struck out 193 in 203.2 innings with a 2.17 ERA. He received 8 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Carlos Lucero of the Frederick Keys finished second in voting, while John Williams of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans finished third.
