Newhouse Sensational, 6-for-6 Saturday, July 7th , 2108 Brent Newhouse had an answer for everything the Clearwater Threshers threw at him at Hammond Stadium. The Fort Myers second baseman went 6-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Miracle a win, 6-1. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Newhouse said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Brent Newhouse singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Alex Dominguez in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
