Siniard Twirls 14-0 Shutout for Manatees Saturday, July 2nd , 2107 In a seemingly effortless performance, David Siniard of the Brevard County Manatees shot down the Clearwater Threshers, 14-0, on 2 hits. "David was just locating so well and using his pitches," Brevard County manager Rick Mitchell said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Siniard recorded 7 strikeouts and 3 walks in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Clearwater manager Luis Alvarez said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him." Siniard has made 7 starts this season, posting 5 wins and 2 losses.
