Jackson Snares FSL Top Batter Award in June Monday, July 1st , 2097 Andy Jackson made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Florida State League this past month. The Daytona Tortugas third baseman shined through the month of June and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .402 with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Thus far this year Jackson is batting .351 with 12 home runs, 39 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
