Week's #1 Player Honored by FSL Monday, July 25th , 2112 Pitchers who faced the Charlotte Stone Crabs last week were happy to see Isaiah Ashley in the rear-view mirror. The 24-year-old shortstop was dubbed the Florida State League Player of the Week for a 5-game tear that saw him hit at a .524 clip. For the week he also chalked up 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Currently Ashley is batting .263 with 8 home runs and 50 RBIs. |
