FSL's #1 Player Named Monday, August 4th , 2098 Ron Devers of Lakeland was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the Florida State League. He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .500 batting average, going 14 for 28 with no home runs, 9 RBIs and scoring 11 times. So far this season Devers has 6 home runs and a .286 batting average. |
