FSL's Top Player Named Monday, August 22nd , 2107 It was some kind of week for Alejandro Reyna of the St. Lucie Mets. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .552 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Florida State League. Last week Reyna went 16-for-29, chalked up 2 home runs and 10 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This season, Reyna has hit 19 home runs and posted a .364 batting average. |
