Daytona Southpaw Tosses 1-0 Shutout Thursday, August 21st , 2098 Michael Darilek pitched a strong game at Calvin Falwell Field today, blanking the Bradenton Marauders 1-0. Darilek allowed no runs on 3 hits, totaled 10 strikeouts and gave up no walks. Daytona manager Justin Rollins said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Darilek. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," Rollins said. "He threw a lot of strikes." This season Darilek has crafted a 8-3 mark with a 3.19 ERA in 115.2 innings.
