Pitcher of the Month Named in FSL Monday, September 1st , 2098 Jason Lento is the latest Florida State League Pitcher of the Month trophy winner. The Charlotte starter sparkled on the diamond time and again last month and finished August with an outstanding 5-1 record. In 6 starts he tossed 51.2 innings, posted 64 strikeouts, and sported a 1.39 ERA. Presently Lento has a 14-7 mark in 25 starts with a 3.14 ERA. He has given up 175 hits in 197.2 innings, struck out 197 and issued 47 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .237 batting average against him. |
