Dunedin Wins Round 1 Sunday, September 14th , 2110 Santiago Navarrete sparked his Dunedin Blue Jays past the pesky Brevard County Manatees in a closely-contested Round 1. Dunedin topped Brevard County 7-2 at Space Coast Stadium to decide the series, 3-1 For his efforts, Navarrete was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .500 batting average, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Navarrete said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win." The Dunedin Blue Jays don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Fort Myers Miracle - Palm Beach Cardinals series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
