Taub Takes FSL Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, October 2nd , 2112 Doug Taub of the Brevard County Manatees had a fine 17-4 season in 2112 and today claimed the Florida State League Pitcher of the Year Award. He started 28 times, threw 174 innings while collecting 164 strikeouts and fashioned a 2.48 ERA. Taub allowed only 141 hits, 50 walks and a .218 opponents' batting average. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 12.
