Blue Jays Heading to Round 2
Saturday, September 13th , 2098
The Dunedin Blue Jays took time to celebrate with the Dunedin fans who stuck around after the game, following the team's Round 1 triumph over the Brevard County Manatees.

Members of the Blue Jays hung around chatting, high-fiving and taking pictures with the Dunedin fans in attendance at Space Coast Stadium, long after the last pitch had been thrown in their 5-0 win to seal the series 3-1.

"We've got great fan support," said right fielder Rob Roe. "Whether we're at home or on the road, the fans support us. So we wanted to show them how important that is to us. Some Brevard County fans that were there even congratulated us on the win."

For the series, Roe hit .400 with a .438 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.

Things weren't so cordial on the Manatees side of things. Their clubhouse was closed to media after the game and all players and coaches quickly dressed and left the stadium after the end to their season.

The Dunedin Blue Jays will play against the Charlotte Stone Crabs in the next round. Charlotte won their series against the St. Lucie Mets 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
