Kosub Grabs FSL Reliever of the Year Friday, October 2nd , 2105 Jared Kosub said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 24 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the St. Lucie Mets rising star has won the Florida State League Reliever of the Year for 2105. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.74 ERA over 98.1 innings. He also had 11 saves in 32 relief appearances, 92 strikeouts and only 23 walks. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Duncan Holdmeyer of the Brevard County Manatees finished second in voting, while Jayson Redd of the Dunedin Blue Jays finished third.
