FSL's Premier Player for 2098 Named
Tuesday, October 7th , 2098
At the age of 24, Jamie Heath of the St. Lucie Mets could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2098 was good enough to win the center fielder the Florida State League Most Valuable Player Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .307 batting average this year, as well as a .364 on-base percentage. He played 105 games and racked up 120 hits, 28 doubles, 4 triples, 15 home runs, 73 RBIs and 60 runs scored.

He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 12. Jesse Grow of the St. Lucie Mets finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Bill Curtis of the Dunedin Blue Jays finished third with 2 first place votes.
