Allyn Strokes 5 Hits Sunday, May 27th , 2108 Tim Allyn was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Bowling Green Ballpark, the Dayton shortstop blistered the Bowling Green Hot Rods for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 8-1 victory. "Allyn was too tough to get out," Hot Rods skipper Francisco Pereyra said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Tim Allyn singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Brian Lanclos in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
