MID's Premier Batter Picked Monday, June 1st , 2111 Rocco Robbins may be much younger than other hitters in the Midwest League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in May to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old Quad Cities left fielder hit .381 with 6 home runs, 15 RBIs and 19 runs scored. In 48 games Robbins is hitting .327 this season with 55 hits, 8 home runs, 25 RBIs, 23 walks, .418 OBP and has scored 29 runs. |
