Hit Streak for Harvey Reaches 20 Wednesday, June 13th , 2108 Adam Harvey of the Fort Wayne TinCaps extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 1-0 triumph over the South Bend Cubs at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium. "Adam has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," TinCaps manager Michael Chiquito joked after the game. Adam Harvey was hit by a pitch in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season, Harvey is swinging the bat at a .298 rate with 73 hits in 245 at-bats. To date he has hit 5 home runs, scored 22 runs and driven in 31. |
