MID's Premier Batter Picked Sunday, June 1st , 2110 Rocco Robbins is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Quad Cities left fielder joined that select company when the Midwest League announced the results of May's voting. Robbins totaled 38 hits, 18 walks, no home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .358 batting average and .448 on-base percentage. This year, Robbins has hit at a .290 pace and produced 23 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 24 runs. |
