Beloit Shuts Out Quad Cities Behind Caruso, 4-0 Thursday, June 5th , 2110 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Quad Cities River Bandits as starter Bruce Caruso shut them out, 4-0, at Harry C. Pohlman Field. The Beloit pitcher struck out 5 and walked 0 while allowing 2 hits. "Caruso was good but he wasn't flawless," Quad Cities manager Maxwell Judson said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Beloit, but this is on us."
