MID Announces Best Batter Award Tuesday, July 1st , 2098 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 24 Curt Kruse has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Great Lakes Loons star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the Midwest League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .382 average with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This season Kruse is batting .292 with 70 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 41 times and has 29 RBI. |
