Fitzmaurice Wins MID Trophy Monday, July 15th , 2109 It was a marvelous week for Riley Fitzmaurice of the Quad Cities River Bandits. Not only did he ring up 2 wins, he also captured Midwest League Player of the Week honors. Fitzmaurice fashioned a standout 0.00 ERA, 2-0 won-lost mark and held opponents to a .164 batting average while striking out 20 in 16 innings. On the season, Fitzmaurice has compiled a 5-6 mark with a 2.76 ERA in 18 starts. In pitching 101 innings he has 105 strikeouts and 53 walks while limiting the opposition to a .210 batting average. |
