Clinton's McCurley Injured, Out of Lineup
Tuesday, June 17th , 2110
Clinton starting pitcher Josh McCurley could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. He exited yesterday's Cedar Rapids game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said McCurley would be out 6 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

This year, McCurley has compiled a 5-3 record with a 2.53 ERA.
