Macias Rips 3 Homers Against Hot Rods

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Bowling Green Ballpark buzzing, Dayton Dragons shortstop Jon Macias blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 7-1, over the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
"Everything was clicking," Macias told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Macias shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Dragons manager Jorge Rosado said. "Jon played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Jon Macias flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Vinny Curiel in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Vinny Curiel in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Brent Watson in the 9th.
This season, Macias is batting .333 with 10 hits, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs, 2 walks, .375 OBP and has scored 7 runs. He has played in 7 games.
