Cubs Craighead Lost for Year Monday, July 22nd , 2109 When Jaylen Craighead was hurt against the Kane County Cougars, the South Bend Cubs were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 23-year-old center fielder suffered a broken kneecap being hit by a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Craighead would miss 5 months of the season. Craighead is currently batting .288 with 4 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
