Victor Esquivias Sidelined for Season Tuesday, July 9th , 2097 The season is ending on a bad note for Victor Esquivias, second baseman for the South Bend Cubs. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Esquivias was hurt against the Lansing Lugnuts while colliding with a player at a base. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 4-5 months. To date this year Esquivias is batting .192 with no home runs. |
